Jul. 13th, 2013 12:47 am It's been a while since his returned, but Akiha still didn't understand her older brother. What was so unreasonable about her morning schedule? Five in the morning was a reasonable time to wake up. It gave her plenty of time to groom, to dress, and to sit and talk during breakfast. She didn't get the appeal of sleeping in until 7. Maybe if he actually followed curfew, he wouldn't find it so difficult. The early bird catches the worm, and all that. Is that it? Did he want to remain a worm? Perhaps she should swoop in and peck at Nii-san until he was full of holes. That would wake him up for sure. Maybe then he would learn not to keep his little sister waiting. Fufu~
Akiha entertained such thoughts, but ultimately decided against it. Nii-san wasn't the type to take such jokes well. Besides, he wouldn't be in shape to eat any breakfast afterwords. That alone kept her from rushing upstairs and kicking the door into his face. Kohaku had told her before, that if she wanted Nii-san to greet her happily at the table, she had to be patient. And that meant letting him wake up when he's ready.
Well...easier said than done. She barely got to her lessons on time. Already there were students whispering rumors of why she didn't just stay at the dorms. Not that it was any of their business. (She only hoped Hanepin hadn't become involved again.) What she did with her own time was her decision. And to her, being able to see her brother was time she treasured. Even if it would hurt her, she would endure it for him.
